Delight's Hospital IVF Process
- This is the first step where you meet with a fertility specialist to discuss your medical history, perform initial tests, and create a personalized treatment plan
- Once the eggs are mature, a minor surgical procedure called egg retrieval is performed under sedation. A thin needle is used to collect the eggs from the ovaries.
- The selected embryos are transferred into the uterus using a thin catheter. This is a painless procedure done under ultrasound guidance
- During this phase, the ovaries are stimulated with hormones to produce multiple eggs. Regular monitoring through blood tests and ultrasounds ensures the eggs are developing properly.
- The retrieved eggs are combined with sperm in the laboratory. This can be done using conventional insemination or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI).
